The synergy in the production of encapsulated coils and valve connectors allowed us to study and simulate the most extreme and severe conditions of application in order to achieve the most ideal customer solutions in terms of performance, quality and cost.
The MA624A3 serie is a power saver connector equipped with a PWM microcontroller for solenoids up to 50W DC. The control circuit designed to actuate solenoids is integrated in a standard EN175301-803 molded connector.
This connector is optimizing the consumption of energy and is improving the energy efficiency of the system.
It is known that the actuation of a valve with a solenoid, requires the maximum energy in the first instant (opening or excitation) where the solenoid must overcome the magnetic forces and mechanical properties necessary to position the movable core inside the valve. After this initial consumption a good part of the energyis then dissipated by the solenoid purely as heat.
The MA624A3 serie, after the initial peak reducesthe output energy and heating of the solenoid caused by Joule effect. The circuit also provides for self-regulate the current in the solenoid as a
function of input voltage, with interdictionof the same electrical
voltages below the minimum operationof the valve in order not
to discharge completely the batteries.
The function refresh periodically sends short pulses of current, returning to 100% the power of the solenoid, in order to ensure the call's magnetic plunger. In addition to the standard option we can provide custom versions parameterized to a specific request.
The main technical features:
- Reduction in the energy consumption with a consequent reduction in the Joule effect.
- Auto regulation of the output power as a function of the input voltage variation.
- Function "refresh" ( on request )
- Protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage generated by the solenoid
