Atam M8 and M12 circular connectors are widely used with various types of applications
These male and female connectors are available as cable entry version for self-assembly of the cable, or they can be supplied complete with moulded cable. The M8 types are available with 3 or 4 poles, the M12 types are available with 3, 4, 5 or 8 poles. The connectors offer protection to IP 67 (certified and complying IEC 60529). When correctly assembled this ensures reliable performance in the presence of dust and when the product is submerged in water.

The clean ergonomic design of these connectors allows easy assembly and dis-assembly. The moulded connectors with cable are overmoulded in polyurethane (TPU), this offers a good level of protection against oils and chemicals, and the risk of surface contamination from foreign bodies is greatly reduced. The connectors have metal lock nuts. The moulded cable versions also have as standard a secure anti-vibration locking system which reduces the risk of lost or intermittent contacts as a result of vibration. The shielded versions are available both with cable screen connected to the lock nut or to the central pin. We offer a wide selection of cable types in stock as well as the possibility to utilize and incorporate special cables in line with the specific request of our customers.
